I have a join code from my teacher. Will that work to activate my exam on MyAP?
Students will receive from their teachers a teacher specific (and class period specific) join code to be able to access an online MyAP AP® Class which includes access to course/exam preparation materials for students and teachers to use - including the ability for teachers to develop quizzes and tests using College Board approved and vetted AP® exam questions.
Students activate the exam by logging into https://myap.collegeboard.org and clicking on 'Add Class/Exam' and then entering in the code provided by each of their AP Teachers.
Exams are not ordered simply based on exam activation. Corresponding fees must also be submitted by the deadline to complete the order.

No. We encourage students to dress comfortably for the exams. That may include layering to be able to accommodate for air conditioning in the rooms, etc.
Do I need to excuse my absence from school during the exam?

What if I finish the exam early? Can I leave the exam early?
Per College Board's security regulations for exams, students may not leave the test until time is called and all examinees are excused together. If a student leaves without permission, their exam will be removed and submitted separately to Colleg Board. Their score will be cancelled and no refund will be possible. Exams are approximately 4 hours. Please be prepared for the duration of the exam.
This same policy applies to students testing with extended time. Students with extended time do not have to use all the extended time provided to them, but they must use the regular allotted exam time and cannot leave before the standard time has passed.

What if you are ill or have an emergency on exam day?
Students who are ill or facing an emergency on exam day should contact [email protected] ON exam day to request to have their exam rescheduled. Rescheduling requests must be submitted by CCHS to College Board within 24-hrs of the original exam date so it is crucial to make immediate contact.
College Board is extremely strict regarding qualifying for rescheduling an AP® exam to the Late Testing (make-up window.) In addition, the reason for requesting late testing must also meet the local school guidelines for excused absences. Approved reasons to reschedule an exam include: extreme illness (hospitalization or medical care, a doctor's note will be required), bereavement, court appearance, or conflict with another AP® exam. Students are NOT eligible for Late Testing for reasons such as: family trips, conflict with an in-class exam or activity, having selected the incorrect AP exam subject when you submitted your order. In all cases, please contact [email protected] IMMEDIATELY so that your request can be reviewed within the timeline set by College Board to order the Late Testing exam IF you are approved.
